Despite expectations of declining video market share for cable going forward, SNL Kagan forecasts a 77% increase in residential cable revenue by ’17, to $121bln, fueled by the sale of more services to existing customers. Residential ARPU is expected to avg $143/month in ’17 (+64%), and incremental revenue including commercial services is expected to surge 400% by the same year, to $17bln.
