Overall HH penetration of digital cable has risen to 26% currently (vs 20% last year), according to CTAM research, surpassing satellite’s 24% HH penetration. Digital cable among cable HHs has also grown, to 46% from 31% in ’05. Penetration of premium channels among cable HHs is now 53% (vs 42% last year). Cable HHs with a DVR more than doubled to 17% so far this year.
