By partnering with Discovery’s U.S. MVPD partners on digital distribution opportunities, Glashow helped secure recent large-scale distribution agreements with Netflix and Amazon, generating new ways to introduce audiences to the company’s extensive library while preserving the traditional subscription model. What’s your favorite part of your job?
I’m always inspired and energized at the pace of change in the digital space. I’m fortunate to work both with our MVPD partners—who are innovating every day — and newer, complementary entrants that provide an opportunity to expand the awareness of our TV brands and shows.
 
How do you define success in the workplace?
First and foremost, I define success by the passion you bring to the job, which then leads to creating the best results. No question, results matter and getting that “win-win” for your company and your client, but you’ll go farther and enjoy the journey infinitely more when you love what you do.
 
Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?

Hands down: a great spouse. I’m thankful every day for a husband who is a true partner in raising our young family (three girls under age three!) and loves and supports the passion I have for my job. It doesn’t hurt that he’s a huge Discovery Channel fan either.
