RCN Metro Optical Networks, a division of RCN Corporation, has been selected by Pacific Northwest Net, a transport provider of broadcast quality video and audio circuits, to provide Ethernet service in the Northeast corridor with multiple circuits between Boston and New York.

Pacific Northwest Net is a Mill Creek, Washington Corporation founded in 1996 as an ISP serving primarily the broadcast media industry. In 2003 the company migrated from the ISP services to the transport of broadcast video, audio and data.

Pacific Northwest Net provides services to organizations in the broadcasting, DSS/DTH satellite, cable and corporate world.

RCN Metro’s Ethernet Service enables the extension of LAN infrastructure for WAN connectivity as well as point-to-point private line services.
