We’re checking our tchotchke pile after stumbling on this item on eBay. "Adelphia Cable is no more, and the limited-edition memorabilia from that fallen company is sure to appreciate in value." Unfortunately, at last check, the "mint-condition" Adelphia mug, "Adelphia Pride" buttons and XXXXL Adelphia T-Shirt with a $3.95 starting bid had no takers. But who can resist an auction with promises like this? "The pins alone are sure to have more value than many political buttons, antiques, etc., because of the very limited production run and the high profile of the [sic] Adelphia downfall during President Bush’s rush to attack corporate crime after Enron and other scandals." Maybe the Rigas family should turn to eBay for help with their legal expenses.
