Team Coco is a winner—literally. The mobile companion app featuring Conan O’Brien won an Emmy in 2012 and was nominated again this year. Polavarapu’s position includes development, deployment, and maintenance of the digital presence of TBS, TNT and TCM, and he manages operations of the networks’ websites, mobile platforms, and all relevant extensions. Recently, his team launched an online streaming simulcast for TBS and TNT—the first entertainment networks to do so on a 24-hour basis. Where could cable step up its efforts? “Educating multicultural Millennials and Gen Y’s and grooming them into potential advocates and future cable execs,” he says.
