Qrix Communications, a Korean cable operator with more than 710,000 subscribers, has launched a wideband M-CMTS trial using Harmonic‘s NSG 9000 universal edgeQAM. The NSG 9000 is capable of reaching up to 72 QAM RF outputs per unit and supports applications including broadcast, VOD, SDV, M-CMTS and DOCSIS 3.0.
