ID' s new 3-part mini-series “Bad Teachers” debuts Tues. — VH1 and Palladia, Viacom' s hi-def music channel, will simultaneously premiere documentary “Artifact” on April 26. It will air on MTV channels later this summer. The film will also be available on-demand in the VH1 app. — As LA Lakers legend Kobe Bryant prepares for his return to the NBA next season, Showtime is set to air its original documentary film “Kobe Bryant's Muse” this fall. — A&E ordered new nonfiction series “D.O.A” (wt) which follows a team of detectives re-examining controversial murder cases. Production begins spring on 8 hour-long eps. — Al Jazeera America is collaborating with Kartemquin Films on “Hard Earned,” a 6-part docu-series to air in early 2015. The series explores the lives of 5 American families striving to keep food on the table and their dignity intact despite the reality of high living expenses and low wages.
