Starz Ent will launch in July Encore HD, its 5th distinct high-def net. The channel will feature this year movies such as "Cars" and "Dances With Wolves" and be offered to affils through an East Coast feed. Approx 80% of the net’s content will be featured in True HD. — Science Channel‘s "Mars Live: The Phoenix Lands" (May 25, 7pm ET) will present a 1st look at photos sent back from the Red Planet, along with analysis of the latest mission. — MTV is calling Brooklyn home for the 21st season of "The Real World." Production begins this summer. — Disney launches summer programming block "Super Duper Summer Saturdays," June 21 at 9:55am. New animated short, "Can You Teach My Alligator Manners?" will bow during the block. — Helping to celebrate Fox Reality‘s 3rd anniversary will be original "The Academy: LASD Class #368" (May 24), which spotlights recruits for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. — Joining Outdoor Channel‘s 3Q programming lineup will be "L.L. Bean’s Guide to the Outdoors," offering global hunting/fishing content.
