Time Warner Cable was the big winner in CableWORLD’s affiliate survey [Feb 21 issue], earning top honors from programmers for its support of affiliate events, its approach to local ad sales and public affairs initiatives. Comcast was judged furthest along with VOD and HD. The email survey of programmers who subscribe to CableWORLD also picked Cox as the easiest MSO to work with; Cablevision was named the most difficult. Interestingly, 71% described current relations with operators as "about the same." Three months earlier, only 47% of operators characterized their relationship with programmers as "about the same."
