In the online version of the Q&A with Viacom boss Sumner Redstone in Sun’s The NY Times, the octogenarian says Tom Freston and he are "…gonna do a gambling channel, which everyone’s interested in. I came up with the idea." He also calls Freston "a genius" and of the proposed gay channel says "we believe [it] will be worth billions… . The demographic is enormous. The people spend tons of money, I mean, that community. Advertisers love it."
