Bresnan Communications has promoted Pragash Pillai to senior vice president, engineering and technology. Pillai, who joined Bresnan in 2006 as VP of strategic engineering and most recently was VP, engineering and technology, will continue to report to Steve Brookstein, Bresnan’s EVP and COO.

In his new role, Pillai will oversee the company’s system engineering, network engineering, IT, regional engineering and video engineering functions, which places these responsibilities under one leader.
