Univision: Tonia O’Connor, president/Content Distribution and Corporate Business Development, will lead the media company’s newly formed Corporate Business Development Group aimed at building revenue opportunities by forging new partnerships with companies seeking more reach into the Hispanic marketplace. O’Connor will work with other key Univision leaders to coordinate joint initiatives, to develop new programs and to provide a more effective alliance with potential outside partners in addition to continuing to lead the company’s content-distribution efforts across platforms.
 
Tech Valley Communications Corporation: James “Jim” Capuano is the new senior vice president and chief of Network Operations at the facilities-based telecom service provider that operates networks in New York and Northern New England. Capuano comes to the carrier from Unite Private Networks, where he was CTO.
 
ABI Research: Jason McNicol has joined the company as a senior analyst, primarily focused on enterprise mobility-management services and enterprise applications for smartphones and tablets. His research responsibilities also will include assessment of vertical markets, enterprise 4G services, and demand and supply-side business-model analysis. McNicol had been a senior market-research analyst at Cox Communications, where he was responsible for deep market segmentation and company performance/forecasting analyses.
