JDSU:  JDSU promoted Rex Jackson to executive vice president/CFO while Susan Spradley joined the company as senior vice president, overseeing the development and management of JDSU’s test-and-measurement product portfolio. Jackson has been acting CFO since last fall; he’s been with JDSU for two years ago, coming in as senior vice president/Business Services. Spradley brings more than 20 years of telecom experience to JDSU, serving in executive positions at Nokia Siemens Networks and Nortel. She also served on the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee and is chair of U.S. Ignite, a White House and National Science Foundation initiative that promotes U.S. leadership in developing applications and services for broadband and software-defined networks.

Women In Cable & Telecommunications:  WICT named Time Warner Cable’s Vickie Fiala of WICT DC/Baltimore as Chapter President of the Year. The Cable Center’s Jana Henthorn won Chapter Advisor of the Year honors for her work with WICT Rocky Mountain.
