Zenterio:  Former Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo is taking the reins as Zenterio’s board chairman while Mats Lindoff, former Sony Ericsson CTO, will serve as CTO. The Swedish company offers an independent operating system for interactive TVs and STBs.
 
Women in Cable Telecommunications: The 2013 WICT board has changed a bit —  
     >> Mary Meduski, executive vice president/CFO at Suddenlink Communications, is taking over as chair, replacing Kathy Payne, vice president/Content Acquisition at Cox Communications, who served as chair for two years and who will move to a one-year term as immediate past chair.
     >> Board member Marva Johnson, corporate vice president/Government & Industry Affairs at Bright House Networks, moves up to the board’s executive committee and will serve as chapter development chair, while three additional individuals will join the board for the first time as directors-at-large: Marc Aldrich, vice president/U.S. Cable Segment at Cisco; Jennifer Hightower, senior vice president/Law & Policy at Cox; and Susanne McAvoy, executive vice president/Marketing & Creative Services at Crown Media Family Networks.
     >> Barbara Linebarger, vice president/Network Partnerships at Turner Broadcasting System Inc., will serve for a year in the director-at-large role as chapter leader designee, while Jacquelyn Smith, director/Software Platform & Engineering at Comcast, serves as the emerging leader designee.
