Rick Mallon has been appointed vice president/Marketing and Product Management at Sigma Systems, moving over from vice president/Product Management. He will continue to lead the product management of Sigma’s service provisioning and activation platform and service packages while also overseeing the execution of global marketing programs…Glenn Byess was hired by optical networking specialist Optelian Services Inc. to head a new service division aimed at increasing the efficiency of product installations and to underscore the importance of highest-quality service to its broad customer base. Byess most recently was an Installation Regional Manager at TE Connectivity, where he led communications and optical networking infrastructure deployments for primary Tier 1 carriers.
