Seven companies made Vertical Systems Group‘s 2012 Global Provider Ethernet Leaderboard (in order based on port share): Orange Business (France), BT Global Services (U.K.), Verizon, Colt (U.K.), AT&T, NTT (Japan) and Level 3. Global providers ranked on the Leaderboard hold at least 4 percent of retail-business Ethernet installations based on billable ports at sites outside of their respective home countries. Notes Rick Malone, principal, “The outlook throughout 2013 is heightened competition for market share in this demanding customer segment."
