Cablevision Systems today announced the availability of SIP trunking from Optimum Business designed to deliver an enterprise quality voice experience to small businesses. The service is designed for customers who want to take full advantage of a small business IP PBX and avoid the cost of an analog gateway. The Cisco SPA9000 Voice System and Microsoft Response Point have been certified compatible with Cablevision’s Optimum Voice service, and the combination will be available exclusively through Optimum Business third-party resellers, as well as select Cisco and Microsoft resellers.

Optimum Voice SIP Trunking includes Direct Inward Dial (DID) functionality, immediate alternate call routing, capacity for 40 DID telephone numbers, and no additional installation required.
