The daily news digest SmartBrief sponsored by CTAM ran a Variety story Mon touting EchoStar’s VOD system: "Dish to air ‘Fahrenheit 9/11’ on VOD on eve of election." It’s bad enough Dish co-opted "VOD" (video on demand by satellite?), but it sure hurts when cable’s marketing mavens let it go un-challenged. – PSM
