The Walter Kaitz Foundation will hold its 9th annual Supplier Diversity Connection Workshop in conjunction with the Cable Show (May 18-20, New Orleans). For the 1st time, Kaitz will team with BET for a program to introduce minority students and professionals to technical opportunities available in the cable industry. Students and faculty from historically black colleges, the Natl Society of Black Engineers, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and similar New Orleans organizations have been invited to participate in the May 18 program, which features Advance/Newhouse‘s Nomi Bergman, BET pres/COO Scott Mills and MTVN‘s Tanya Van Court.
