Discovery’s Military Channel had a large presence at Sat’s Army-Navy contest, being one of the game’s in-stadium sponsors. At the site of the game (Lincoln Financial Field in Philly), Military staged its first live special, about the storied history of the contest. Early word was that Military was so happy with the effort, it plans to have a presence at the game for at least the next 2 years. — Talk about drawing power…Having Comcast’s Brian Roberts as an honoree helped Namic raised $500K from last week’s 25th anniversary dinner. — MTV’s Judy McGrath and MAGNA’s Bill Cella will be honored tonight at the John A. Reisenbach Foundation’s 14th Gala Tribute for a Better and Safer NY, the Harmonie Club, NYC.
