T. Howard has officially started the search to replace exec dir Curtis Symonds, who was recently name COO of the WNBA’s Washington Mystics (Cfax, 8/16). For the record, Symonds will remain a CableFAX columnist. The diversity org also announced that it had a record number of former interns hired by media organizations, such as Comedy Central, Court TV, ESPN, Oxygen Media and Turner. — Tickets are on sale for the Denver Chapter of Cable Positive’s annual "Positively Cable" spoof. The 11th annual soir�e will be held Nov 10 at The Cable Center in Denver, with Cfax’s Paul Maxwell and others parodying topics such as indecency.
