A new wrinkle for CTAM Summit next month in Philly will be a series of sessions where BigBand Networks, Maritz, Synacor (Mon, 4:15-5pm) and Hillcrest, Rentrak, Telcordia (Tues, 10:30-11:15am) will be given 45 minutes each to discuss their products/services. In keeping with Summit’s boxing theme (The Thrilla’ in Phila’), these sessions will be called "Promoter’s Showcases" and will be held in private theaters off Summit’s ‘center ring.’ There won’t be any educational tracks opposite those sessions, CTAM chief Char Beales says. The traditional vendor displays will be located in ‘the center ring’ and called ‘digital knockouts.’ They’ll have a different look than previous years and actually will be 10×10 booths, Beales says. — 3-time Olympian and WICT CEO/pres Benita Fitzgerald Mosley will speak at a celebration of the 33rd anniv of Title IX on the Hill.
