Hallmark gained 5.8mln subs in the year since 9/30/04 to push its total to 69.2mln. (It pushed past 70mln after the end of 3Q.) 3Q also brought the net’s highest-ever ratings. It’s a nice story to tell when you’re up for sale, one that has attracted "significant interest," CEO David Evans said. "Discussions have gone well." All the usual suspects- Comcast, Fox, Viacom-are said to be interested.
