SeaChange International subsidiary On Demand Group (ODG) has launched a premium TV subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) for Cablevision, Mexico’s leading cable provider. The launch adds to the transactional video-on-demand (TVOD) service for the latest movies, which ODG launched with Cablevision and which was announced in October. Cablevision’s VOD services are delivered on a platform of SeaChange video back office software and video servers. ODG specializes in the aggregation, content and service management of VOD services and works with operators to implement marketing campaigns aimed at maximizing TVOD buying rates and SVOD subscribers and view rates.

JD Power’s 2026 U.S. Television Service Provider Satisfaction Study shows how MVPDs are continuing to make headway in customer satisfaction. This year’s study, covering August 2025 through July, saw cable and satellite raise their score by 18 points YOY to a segment average of 549 (on 1,000-point scale).
