Time Warner Cable chose SC as the place to debut an entire interactive suite that includes advanced navigation. SC will also be the 1st consumer launch of on-screen caller ID by a major MSO. Customers who subscribe to digital phone and digital cable receive the service. While Time Warner has interactive services in other systems, this is the 1st time it has brought several together into 1 large suite of apps. SC subs are also the 1st TW customers to have access to an impulse buy feature that lets them subscribe to services like Showtime or SVOD instantly (the MSO needed that feature 4 years ago when it was overwhelmed with requests for the HBO SVOD service in SC, the 1st TW market to launch it). Other ITV features include the "Access menu," which provides navigation beyond the traditional grid. Subs can search by category, VOD content, access ITV new bytes, etc, with the click of 1 button on the remote.
