Turns out Hollywood Media has MSO deals for its Hollywood TV.com with 5 of the top MSOs nationally, not the top 5 MSOs nationally. Tricky, eh? We thought so. That said, bets are off for Time Warner Cable. Our money’s now on Mediacom, with Hollywood Media actually identifying the MSO on its earnings call late Wed. Mediacom premiered the net (formerly Totally Hollywood TV) in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, IA, plus Springfield, MO, recently, covering "a portion" of the operator’s 1.3mln subs, parent Hollywood Media pres Laurie Silvers said on the call. Other places where Hollywood.com TV launched lately include Insight’s Louisville and Lexington, KY, franchises, and Comcast in Baltimore. The channel is available among 6mln cable HHs (mostly as a VOD attraction), and is anticipated to crack 10mln subs next summer, Silvers said. – Simon Applebaum
