Both apps target the healthcare industry. The Zipit Enterprise Critical Messaging Solution can deliver messages within 10 seconds, and both new services are HIPAA- and HITECH-compliant. The Zipit VoIP feature is compatible with select enterprise PBX systems and cloud-based PBX systems with SIP capability…The newest training DVD from The Light Brigade tackles Fiber Optic Safety and is designed to keep anyone who works with optical fibers or lasers, or who installs or operates fiber-optic communication systems in the loop regarding such topics as laser types and classifications, how they operate and various control measures; national and international fiber-optic and laser safety standards; optical fiber handling and safety; chemicals and right-to-know documentation; fiber and laser testing and inspection equipment types and apps; the impact of high-power Raman and EDFA optical amplifiers; and safety practices during installation and restoration. DVD bonus materials include a student quiz with a matching instructor version, written in Microsoft Word form…The Spirent GSS5300 simultaneously can test two wireless-enabled devices with multiple RF interfaces, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM and NFC. The GSS5300 also operates with Spirent GNSS constellation simulators to test GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS technology. The device provides repeatable testing against full signaling conditions, with the ability to determine RF transmitter/receiver operation. By following a parallel testing approach, customers can test multi-radio devices in shorter times, greatly improving manufacturing line throughput.
