London is the first office, followed by New York, Singapore and Los Angeles…InfiNet Wireless, a U.K. maker of carrier-grade wireless infrastructure solutions for Fixed Broadband Wireless Access (FBWA) and wireless connectivity, intros Instant Dynamic Frequency Selection (Instant DFS)  as an option for the company’s InfiLINK 2×2 Point-to-Point range of solutions as well as for its InfiMan 2×2 Point-to-Multipoint base stations. This new development is fully compliant with the FCC and ETSI standards, typically deployed for point-to-point connectivity as well as in networks where link stability and reliability are mission-critical. An InfiNet Wireless radio unit enabled with Instant DFS will continuously monitor the available frequency bands, scanning each channel for noise, radar signals and interference sources. The unit’s management software then can switch frequency channels automatically when any interference is detected.
