At 2.42 Mbps, the average speeds for Netflix streams on the RCN network in Boston outperformed other ISPs by up to 70%. Charter took the 2nd spot, delivering 2.19 Mbps in the area, followed by Verizon FiOS (2.15 Mbps), Comcast, (2.13 Mbps) and Time Warner Cable (2.05 Mbps).

Netflix said it will release more regional indexes in the future.
