Net Insight has received an order for delivery of additional Nimbra equipment to Teracom’s media contribution network in Sweden. In 2008, Teracom deployed a core network interconnecting its media contribution networks in Stockholm, Goteborg and Malmo. The network is designed to handle simultaneous transport of uncompressed and compressed video (HD-SDI, SD-SDI and ASI) based on Net Insight’s Nimbra 680 and the eight-port Video Access Module.

Teracom is Sweden’s first media operator, providing services within radio, TV, broadband and digital communications. The company consists of Teracom and the subsidiary Boxer TV-Access, which offers pay TV services distributed to households through Teracom’s network. Teracom is owned by the Swedish government and operates Sweden’s broadcasting infrastructure.
