Net Insight announced five global deals today, including additional orders from customers to expand their networks.

According to the optical transport company, an Asian telecommunications provider ordered an international video contribution network; a European public broadcaster ordered an expansion to its Net Insight Nimbra media network; a North American sports broadcaster ordered an expansion to its Nimbra platform to accommodate increasing customer demand; a Chinese broadcaster ordered a Nimbra platform for a digital terrestrial television network; an Estonian media network operator Levira ordered an upgrade and expansion to its Nimbra-based contribution and distribution network.

Nimbra delivers optical network transport solutions for broadcast and media, digital terrestrial television, mobile television, and IPTV and cable operator networks.
