Seattle-based white-label video publishing company thePlatform inked a new multi-year agreement that adds USA Network, Syfy and Oxygen networks to the NBCUniversal networks that already use its back-end video management system.

The trio will use thePlatform’s cloud-based mpx video management system to reach viewers on PCs, tablets, and other IP-connected devices. To date, such other NBCU networks as E!, NBC Local Media, NBC Sports Regional Networks, Sprout, Style and the Golf Channel work with thePlatform.

Implementations of mpx will vary across each of the programming networks based on their specific business needs, thePlatform notes.
