Delaying the broadcast industry’s shift to digital transmission could have detrimental effects for tower industry companies engaged in broadcast-related activities, according to the National Association of Tower Erectors.

Don Doty, NATE chairman of the board of directors, has released a statement urging Congress to halt plans for an extension to the deadline, saying that a delay would halt already contracted work and lead to avoidable job losses and company failures.
