— N.Y.-based Wireless 20/20 LLC, which developed the WiROI 4G Business Case Analysis Tool, added the WiROI Venue Tool to the box, providing wireless carriers with the means to “simulate the impact of deploying Wi-Fi and 4G capacity in high-traffic density venues, such as stadiums, arenas and airports,” it says. The Venue Tool helps operators and their suppliers visualize data-usage growth at high-density venues and to apply alternate technologies like Wi-Fi, 3G/4G small cells and DAS to meet demand. It also can be used to project data growth during a 10-year period, and it can model revenue scenarios.
