Using Motorola Mobility’s VAP2400 wireless video bridge, Altibox customers will be able to wirelessly share interactive TV, video on demand (VOD) and other IP-enabled devices across the home. Motorola’s VAP2400 streams high definition (HD) video over the Wi-Fi spectrum throughout the home to reach further and enable a high quality video viewing experience, even through thick walls.

Altibox is a national effort by cooperating partners to offer fiber optical communications solutions with interactive television, ultra high speed Internet, cheap and secure phone calls, burglar and fire alarm and mobile phone in one fiber cable. Altibox customers enjoy symmetrical Internet speeds of up to 400 Mbps.

The Motorola VAP2400 will be available to Altibox subscribers from Q4 2011.
