Ubiquisys, a developer of 3G and LTE intelligent small cells, raised another $19 million via an oversubscribed round from new investors Mobile Internet Capital and Nissay Capital together with existing investors that include 5CCG/Sallfort Privatbank AG, Accel Partners, Advent Venture Partners, Atlas Venture and Yasuda. The company plans to use the capital “to generate further profitable growth and accelerate delivery of innovative tri-mode 3G/LTE/Wi-Fi small cell hot spots”…Cloud mobile-platform provider AnyPresence concluded its Series B funding effort, led by investor LivingSocial, with $5.5 million “to further accelerate the company’s growth and customer success.” AnyPresence says it’s working with its customers in the healthcare, communications and services sectors to fast-track their mobile initiatives by using the AnyPresence mobile platform-as-a-service.
