MobiTV: Cedric Fernandes, who has been serving as vice president/Technology, was promoted to CTO. Fernandes has been working closely with former CTO Kay Johansson, who has moved into a strategic advisory role, and he is an inventor named on several technology patents related to media streaming and distribution.
 
Zonoff Inc.: Dave DiOrio is joining the Pa.-based connected-home company as vice president/Customer Programs, responsible for driving implementation of Zonoff’s smart-home technology solutions for customers and channel partners. DiOrio previously was COO at semiconductor provider Quartics; he also served a stint at Broadcom. Zonoff, which recently announced $3.8 million in Series A funding, has tasked itself with connecting the Internet of Things to everyone via a range of devices across many wireless protocols.
