Turner Sports – NCAA March Madness Live
Turner faced a unique challenge with its March Madness Live app in 2012: Getting people to pay for it (with a $3.99 upgrade to view video). Never an easy task, but Turner set out to grow the app’s followers by 20% anyway, starting with in-store promos at AT&T stores nationwide and eventually blanketing the Web with traditional banners and SEO efforts. Turner now looks on track to meet or exceed its goals, with early results showing 8% growth on iOS devices and 14% on Androids.
