At Cable-Tec Expo, Mixed Signals announced a joint solution pairing its Sentry digital content monitor with Miranda’s iControl QoE monitoring system. The integrated solution is designed to visually track service quality from end to end in real time across hundreds of programs. The company is also demonstrating the upgraded audio monitoring capabilities of the Sentry. It’s designed to enable cable operators to identify audio volume issues in programming and commercials, giving them the information necessary to fix dramatic volume changes that occur during channel changes and when commercials run.
