Mitel NetSolutions, a division of Mitel that offers cloud-based Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) services, has been certified as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Via this expansion, Mitel NetSolutions says it now can serve as a single-point communications provider for small U.S. businesses that want all of the capabilities of enterprise-class UCC delivered as a cloud service, regardless of how their offices are distributed.

In addition to its broadened CLEC status, Mitel NetSolutions upgraded its AnyWare hosted cloud-based communications service to include deep mobile integration to help small enterprises build up their mobile workforces.

Key additions to the Mitel AnyWare include:

>> Interexchange multiple user types and usage profiles with the greater range of Mitel telephony portfolio products to develop a custom solution that fits each customer’s unique needs.
>> Mobile Wireless Integration, in which staffers integrate their office phones and their mobile devices with a single number and a single voice-mail unification of the desktop phone and the mobile device when combined with Mitel Mobile service from NetSolutions.
