As a result of a new deal between MIPS Technologies Inc. and Opera Software, the HTML5-based Opera TV Store and the Opera TV browser with WebGL support now are available for MIPS-Based DTVs, set-top boxes and other digital home devices.??

Both the Opera TV browser and the Opera TV Store are powered by the Opera Devices SDK 3.3, the latest version of Opera’s development toolkit for TV manufacturers.

MIPS Technologies will demonstrate the Opera Devices SDK solutions?running on MIPS-Based devices this week at the  China Content Broadcasting?Network (CCBN) Exhibition in Beijing. Opera will demonstrate its enhanced TV Store and new TV browser for Android and Linux platforms on the MIPS-Based BCM7425 SoC from Broadcom at the IP&TV World Forum in London, also being held this week.
