Edgeware and Minerva Networks have signed a global distribution agreement for Minerva to integrate Edgeware’s distributed video delivery architecture with Minerva’s new xTVFusion platform to enable a range of advanced video delivery solutions, including video on demand, network-based digital video recording, time shifted TV, fast channel change and video retransmission for enhanced quality-of-experience.

Minerva xTVFusion is a new software platform for the management and delivery of advanced TV services over any broadband network to any connected device.

The combined Minerva and Edgeware solution will be demonstrated at TelcoTV in Las Vegas, November 9-12.
