MetroPCS Communications Inc., which is set to merge with T-Mobile USA (CTDaily, 04/01/13) launched Cisco’s Carrier-Grade Internet Protocol Version 6 (CGv6) Solution as a first step in the transition of its mobile Internet network to IPv6. The carrier also is using Cisco as a system integrator for the design, testing and production enablement of IPv6 in its multivendor mobile Internet network.
