Lightower Fiber Networks wrapped its $2 billion+ merger with Sidera Networks first announced last December, creating what it says is one of the largest U.S. metro fiber providers. The new acquisition will operate under the Lightower brand. The company’s network footprint now spans New England; the New York metro region; Philadelphia; Washington, D.C.; Virginia; and west to Chicago, with additional connectivity to landing points in London and Toronto. It offers customers more than 20,000 route miles of network and 7,500 service locations.
