Metaswitch Networks was selected best new idea most likely to succeed as part of informal polling conducted during the Innovation Showcase at CableLabs Summer Conference.

Ten companies participated in the showcase session with each company given 10 minutes to present and demonstrate its technology solution for cable.? 

Metaswitch demonstrated Thrutu, an in-call content sharing application for PCs, smartphones and tablet computers, designed to work across business, residential and mobile customers. Thrutu lets voice subscribers share all manner of interactive content and media during a phone conversation.

Other Showcase participants were ARRIS, Clearleap, CTERA Networks, Dyyno, FourthWall Media, Ignite Solutions, Manilla, Tely Labs and ViVu.
