Synacor is powering Mediacom Communications’ next-generation portal. Under the agreement, Synacor will provide Mediacom with a customizable broadband portal, in addition to the value-added content that Synacor has been providing to Mediacom’s highest-tier broadband subscribers for the past three years.
Synacor’s customizable portals are designed to serve as the preferred starting point for the consumption of all Internet-based consumer services, including e-mail, news, video and other features. Using the Synacor single sign-on process, customers are identified and recognized, enabling targeted delivery of features and localized information.
