Motorola’s Home & Networks Mobility business today announced that Massillon Cable TV, a provider of video, data, and voice services in Massillon and Wooster, OH, has deployed the Motorola BSR 64000 Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) and the high density Motorola TX32 downstream module to deliver ultra-fast Internet speeds and advanced services. Massillon is one of a growing list of cable operators worldwide to upgrade to an integrated CMTS (I-CMTS) solution as a way to meet increasing online traffic demands.

The Motorola I-CMTS platform offers operators a DOCSIS standards-based, fully redundant CMTS/intelligent edge router that allows broadband operators to introduce differentiated data, voice, and multimedia services. The fully redundant TX32 Decoupled Downstream module provides significant downstream capacity and DOCSIS 3.0 downstream channel bonding. (For the latest on DOCSIS 3.0, click here).
