Jackson headed the creative, digital and mobile components of Syfy’s transmedia event of the year—the premiere of “Defiance” and its vast online empire. “Defiance” was Syfy’s biggest premiere in five years and the web site shattered records, averaging more than 3 million unique visitors while the show was in new episodes. He’s a big team player, too. “Being able to give back is something that I cherish in my position at Syfy,” he says. “When there is an opportunity to provide guidance, support or simply lend an ear… I always strive to make myself available.”
