Remote Monitoring The Omnitronix SNMP-Link Model SL81 is a multi-purpose unit for the management of unmanned sites that house nonSNMP enabled equipment such as power sources, old PBXs, batteries, aging telecom boxes, serial alarms, contact closures, and analog inputs. The device detects alarm conditions at remote sites and monitors environmental factors such as temperature and humidity. It also monitors any devices present that harness SNMP. The SL81 is intended for serial alarms, on-board contact closure alarms, on-board temperature and humidity sensors, remote serial access and alarm notification/resolution. VoIPCheck allows cable operators to test VoIP call statistics without MTA and RF DOCSIS connections and generate statistics that determine the quality of a customer’s connection. A triple-play services testing field meter for HFC operators, the DSAM is part of the company’s acquisition of Acterna. Embedded in the DSAM 2.4 field meter, VoIPCheck can display continuous test results that constantly grade the values of call signals and clarity. During a VoIPCheck test, packet loss, jitter, delay and other characteristics are displayed on the DSAM monitor. It can also examine different categories of call-value results including live, extreme and average. The all-in-one design is compact and has flexible mounting options. Built-in dynamic control capabilities include on-the-fly speed and position command changes at over 30 Hz supporting applications including real-time tracking. A 360-degree continuous-pan option is available with pass-through of microwave antenna signals. An available software API supports integration with custom applications. Geo-pointing and stabilizations options are available. The PTU-D300 provides a turn-key solution for antenna position through a range of motion. Remote control of the PTU-D300 is provided through RS-232 or RS-485 serial interfaces with multiple software options.
